REGISTRATION & ELIGIBILITY:

Staying consistent with the Mission Statement of LAO Hebrews 10:23-25 [Hold Fast, Encourage & Assemble] AND Since competition can occur on Sundays it is biblically prudent per Matthew 6:33, Ezekiel 3:20, Romans 14:13, 1 Corinthians 8:9 that OUR priorities are in the right order and special considerations are taken to not give the appearance of indifference with respect to corporate worship (Assembling).

Participation is open to all BOYS who are able to with the help of their Parents or Guardian AND Pastor complete:

• Covenant to Mission: Signature required by your pastor!
• Assumption of Risk
• 07 / 08 MMWA Registration
• 2008 MYWA Membership Waiver
• 2 Copies of Birth Certificates
  • 1 to be sent to MMWA
  • 1 you must bring to each tournament
• Please cover any SSNs before making copies
• Check for $15 payable to MYWA.

COST: (There are NO fundraisers!)

LAO will always try follow the rule of Functional, Fun & Frugal, allowing families to research the sport without a finacial over commitment by the parents.

Families will always be given options for example

1. Shoes: (optional) $25 & Up - Some leagues allow CLEAN pair of reserved tennis shoes provided they have a "soft sole" and no metal.
2. Singlet: (optional) $35 New / $25 Used - Singlet, the uniform of a wrestler. The Club t-shirt and "small" black athletic shorts are acceptable. For those that are interested the team will order matching singlets the week before Christmas
3. Team Gear: T-shirts, Sweatshirts, Hoodies, will be ordered each season. It is a common practice for Parents or Guardians to wear a team T-shirt to tournaments.  For this reason interested parents/guardians may order extras. Generally we need a minimum of 24 to place an order at the screner.

Individual tournament Participation: $8.00 to $12.00 each - Due to the club “Tournament Coordinator” by close of Tuesday’s practice for the following week ends tournament.

Family Entry: $6.00/family

PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT:

• Parental involvement is the key to our club's success!
• Parents of Participants who are 8 years of old and younger are required to participate in practice.  This participation includes but is not limited to positive encouragement and motivation of your wrestler.
• Enthusiastic Parents and New Coaches are always welcome!

  • Club rep for each tournament
  • Club photographer for each tournament

Observation of practice:

• Families not yet registered and there sons are welcome to observe during Tuesday Practices ONLY.
