LAO Skiing
LAO has coordinated with GK-Adventures to participate in their annual trip to Summit County Colorado, Home to these premier ski resorts.
The trip offers: (You must participate in at least 2 of 3 packages)
- A variety of five-day lift ticket packages to these resorts
- Six days of lodging in centrally located Dillon, Colorado and
- Round trip airfare between Detroit and Denver.
- Just because you don’t fly out of Detroit, don’t let that stop you from joining us for the great lift packages, lodging and of course Christian friendship.
- Besides skiing, the County also offers a variety of other activities including dogsledding, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, and outlet shopping.
In addition to this great skiing, LAO has made arrangements with avid skier Dr. Steven A. Hein; Director Concordia Institute for Christian Studies; Monument, Colorado, to provide morning and evening devotions for those that are interested and a Lunchtime talk somewhere on the hill every day.
When filling out your paperwork please note that you and or your party are LAO Participant(s). This helps to underwrite Dr. Hein's expenses.
Additional Information:
- If you live in the Detroit area but and are not able to attend pre trip meetings / presentations, GK-Adventures will come to a church in your Circuit provided there are 10 or more persons signed up in that Circuit
- The timing of this trip is based on the public school break in Oakland County, Michigan. If you would like to “Sponsor” an additional week for spring of 2008 please contact us at LAO with your proposal regardless of what District (state) you are from!
